Bhubaneswar: A worker drowned after being trapped in a pipeline chamber in VSS Nagar area of the city on Wednesday night. His body was found on Thursday.
Sources said that B. Rudra Dora, a resident of Ganapati Nagar slum in Bhubaneswar, was busy carrying out pipeline work inside a chamber in VSS Nagar when water suddenly entered the chamber. He tried very hard to escape from the chamber but his hands got stuck and he drowned. Residents tried to rescue him immediately, but in vain.
