Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s two planetariums and Pathani Samanta Museum will reopen for visitors from August 10.
Official sources confirmed that visitors will be allowed to enter Pathani Samanta Planetarium at Bhubaneswar and Dr Abdul Kalam Planetarium at Burla in Sambalpur district from August 10.
The Pathani Samanta Planetarium in the state capital will remain open on all days except Saturday and Sunday. The Dr Abdul Kalam Planetarium at Burla will remain open on all days except Monday.
However, 50 per cent capacity of the visitors will be allowed for any programme or show with all the COVID guidelines in place, informed Deputy Director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, Dr Subhendu Pattnaik.
Notably, the two planetariums had remained closed for over three months due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
