Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed anguish over the bus accident at Pakur in Jharkhand.
In a tweet he conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and said may the injured recover soon.
The prime Minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in an accident in Pakur. The injured would be given Rs 50,000, he tweeted.
It may be mentioned that 16 persons died in an accident after a bus full of passengers collided with a truck filled with gas cylinders.
The accident occurred near Padairkola village under the jurisdiction of Amrapara police station in Jharkhand’s Pakur district.
