Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to embark upon a three-day visit to Odisha from November 29.
Modi is scheduled to attend the conference DGPs being held in the state from November 29 to December 1, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said on Monday.
The Prime Minister will stay in Odisha for three days. As per the schedule, the PM will arrive in Bhubaneswar on November 29 night and stay till December 1 afternoon, Harichandan said.
Apart from Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and other senior officers of the Intelligence Bureau, all state DGPs, CRPF DG, chiefs of RAW, NSG and SPG will attend the three-day event, sources said.
Prime Minister’s 3-day stay in the state indicates that Odisha is the focus of the Central government. The state will be on a path to lead rapid progress of the eastern region, scripting a new chapter in the country’s development, the Minister said.
