Bhubaneswar: To ensure strict implementation of the COVID Unlock-3 guidelines issued by the Odisha government, the twin city commissionerate police on Saturday prohibited movement for non-essential activities during the night curfew.
In a notice, Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi said that considering the density of population and conventional go of the people, the movement for non-essential activities in the twin city jurisdiction will be strictly prohibited between 9 pm and 5 am till August 31.
Sarangi said since the notice could not be served individually to all concerned, the order was passed ex-parte and was being promulgated for the information of the public at large.
The order shall be published through the press and copies will be affixed on the notice board at the offices of DCP Bhubaneswar, DCP Cuttack, tehasil offices, all police stations concerned and the zone ACPs.
