Bhadrak: A constable of Tihid police station was found hanging at his government quarters at Tihidi in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Toofani Patra, a resident of Anandpur in Keonjhar district.
It is being suspected that he took the extreme step over some family feud. He allegedly had some dispute with his wife, sources saiid.
Police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem to the Bhadrak hospital. An investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death is underway.
