Bhubaneswar: A private English medium school in Cuttack was left red-faced after a pornographic video popped up while an online class being conducted by it was on.
According to media reports, some miscreants hacked the educational institute’s website and released an obscene video during the e-learning session of Class XII students.
Following the incident, the school lodged a complaint with Chauliaganj police station.
A case has been registered under Section 292 of IPC and Section 67 (A) of IT Act in this connection.
As the educational institutions across the state have been closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, several schools have opted for the online teaching mode for completing the syllabus on time.
