New Delhi: A would-be bride’s effort to look beautiful met with disaster after a visit to the beauty salon. So much so, that the groom called off the wedding. The woman had gone for a makeover ahead of the wedding. During the process, her face turned black. After seeing her condition, the groom cancelled the wedding.
The incident was reported from the Arasikere village in Karnataka’s Hassan district and the woman is being treated at a hospital, India Today reported.
The woman wanted to try something innovative and after the initial application of the foundation, she took steam. Soon her face became burnt and swollen.
The woman’s family has registered a police complaint against the owner of the beauty parlour, Ganga. The police have summoned the owner and are interrogating her.
