Cuttack: A priest reportedly died while performing puja at a Shiv temple at Alara village under Narasinghpur police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Sunday morning.
The priest, identified as Prabhash Nanda (40) of Nukhapada Patanda village, collapsed while conducting rituals. He was rushed to Narasinghpur Community Health Centre (CHC), but was declared dead on arrival.
Sources said that the priest was an Asthma patient.
On being informed, police reached the hospital and sent the body for postmortem.
