Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a roadshow on his arrival at Bhubaneswar on November 29.
Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, Odisha president of BJP Manmohan Samal said the Prime Minister, who is coming to the state on a three-day visit, will land at Biju Patnaik International Airport in the capital at 4.15 pm. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive a little earlier in another flight.
Samal said the Prime Minister would be accorded a grand welcome on his arrival. Modi would also address a public meeting at the airport, he added.
The Prime Minister will then participate in a roadshow that would be taken out from Bhubaneswar airport to Governor’s House. From there, Modi would proceed to the party headquarters.
Samal said Modi would interact with BJP legislators and MPs and hold a discussion with senior party leaders. The meeting, which would be organised in the party headquarters, would continue for two hours, Samal said.
I may be noted that Modi is coming to attend the DGPs’ conference being held in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1. He will stay in Odisha for three days.
Apart from Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and other senior officers of the Intelligence Bureau, all state DGPs, CRPF DG, chiefs of RAW, NSG and SPG will attend the three-day event, sources said.
