Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday appointed party’s general secretary Priyadarshi Mishra as spokesperson with immediate effect.
Mishra, who is the sitting MLA of Bhubaneswar-North, was denied ticket and replaced with Sushant Kumar Rout this time. The seat will go to the polls in the third phase on April 23.
On Thursday, BJD had appointed Bijay Kumar Nayak as general secretary of the party.
