Bhubaneswar: At least 21 districts of Odisha are likely to be lashed by rain, thundershower and lightning on Sunday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar issued yellow warning at 4 pm and said light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning may affect some parts of Sundargarh, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Keonjhar, Angul, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Bhardak, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur within next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safe places to protect from lightning strike, it said.
