Bhubaneswar: Rain accompanied by thundershower and lightning is likely to lash at least six districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar city, on Sunday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a warning issued along with yellow alert at 4.10 pm, the weather agency said light to moderate rain, thundershower and lightning may affect some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Ganjam, and Sambalpur within next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
