Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thunderstorm in some parts of eight districts of Odisha till 6.15 pm on Thursday.
The weather condition will prevail in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
