Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday issued a nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 7.30 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompained by thunderstorm/lighting is likely at some places in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar City), Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Kandhamal, Angul, Ganjam and Nayagarh.
People are advised to move into safer places to avoid any possibility of lightning strikes.
