Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorm for 17 districts of Odisha till 8 pm on Tuesday.
The weather condition will prevail in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Angul, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Balangir, Sonepur, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput and Nuapada in the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
