Bhubaneswar: The Odisha squad left for Ahmedabad on Thursday to take part in the Ranji Trophy.
Led by Subhranshu Senapati, Odisha will face the formidable Mumbai, Saurashtra and Goa in Elite Group D. The format of the premier domestic meet has been tweaked this season, with nine groups of four teams playing at nine different centres.
The entire Odisha contingent, including players and support staff, will undergo a five-day quarantine period as per BCCI’s COVID-19 protocol before having a couple of practice days.
Odisha will open their campaign against Goa on February 17.
