Bhubaneswar: Rapper Big Deal has come up with a new release, Kalia (Jai Jagannath), on the eve of world famous Car Festival.
“I belong to Puri. We used to hear ‘Jai Jagannath’ since our childhood. I also have a personal connection with Lord Jagannath. My mother says, I have got a new life for Lord Jagannath. He has saved me once,” said Samir Rishu Mohanty aka Big Deal.
“I had written this song six months back. But planned to release it on the eve of Rath Yatra. There are English sub-titles of the song, as I wanted people of other states to know about Lord Jagannath and his miracles,” he added.
The four minute and 24 second long video highlights that Lord Jagannath is everywhere to help the needy in some form.
Actor Partha Sarathi Ray played the role of Lord Jagannath. He helps a kid to help needy people. Mivaan Tiwari has played the role of the kid.
