Balasore: A rare white owl was rescued at Nilagiri in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday.
According to sources, locals found the injured owl at the Panchamukhi Hanuman temple near bypass road in Nilagiri. They later handed it over to the Forest Department.
“After treatment, it will be released into the forest,” informed Nilagiri Ranger Manwar Khan.
It is being suspected that the owl sustained injuries after being hit by a vehicle.
