Tata mogul Ratan Tata, who is currently celebrating one million followers on Insta, won over hearts again by defending a young follower for her thoughtless remark for him on the social media platform.
On reaching the million mark on Instagram, the most-loved industrialist posted a picture of himself on the social platform. When his loyal fans were heaping praises on him, one young lady posted a message calling him “Chhotu”. This didn’t go down well with his fans, who started criticizing the lady for disrespecting the octogenarian.
But Tata, known for his humble and polite nature, saved the lady from the backlash of his followers by requesting the netizens to treat her with respect as everyone has the freedom to express the child within them.
“There is a child in each of us. Please treat this young lady with respect,” he posted along with a smiley on Instagram to save the lady from the ire of his followers.
To this, one admirer replied, “You are a truly,” and another fan wrote, “Wonderful reply, sir.”
In no time, his comment received 4,000 ‘likes’ and the gentleman became a ‘Hero’ again.
In the image posted on Instagram, he is seen sitting cross legged on the floor with a smile on his face.
“This wonderful online family is not what I expected when I joined Instagram and I have you to thank for it,” he wrote along with the picture. The post has received more than 3.7 lakh likes.
