New Delhi: Xiaomi launched its new mid-range base model of the Redmi Note 9 series in India on Monday. The Redmi Note 9 Max and Pro were launched earlier.

Redmi Note 9 4GB RAM/64GB storage – Rs 11,999
Redmi Note 9 6GB RAM/128GB storage – Rs 14,999
The new phone features a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD screen with Gorilla Glass 5, MediaTek Helio G85, rear quad camera setup with 48-MP + 8-MP + 2-MP + 2-MP sensors, front 13-MP notched camera, 5,020mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. It also has a IR blaster and the display is TUV Rheinland low blue-light certified.
The reverse charging works with other Redmi phones, according to Xiaomi.
The Redmi Note 9 will go on sale on July 24 on Mi.com and Amazon India. It will also be sold at offline stores.
