Guwahati: Odisha athletes claimed two more gold medals in the 37th National Junior Athletics Championships here on Monday.
The quartet of Abhishek Dalabehera, Aryan Ekka, Lalu Prasad Bhoi, Bhima Sardar won the 4x100m relay in U-20 men’s category clocking 41.31 seconds. All athletes are trainees of Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics HPC.
Kerala (41.58) and Tamil Nadu (41.82) finished in silver and bronze positions, respectively.
Tejaswini Dhal added to Odisha’s joy in the evening as she bagged gold in the U-14 kids javelin event with an effort of 33.60m.
She saw off the challenge off beat Gujarat’s Apikshakumari Gamit (33.23) and Punjab’s Manreet Kaur (33,15).
