New Delhi: LML, the two-wheeler maker of yesteryears, is planning a comeback. This time, the company intends to make electric two-wheelers.
The company has found new investors and is looking at multiple technologies for the EV market.
LML plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore over the next 3-5 years and is looking to set up assembly plants in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.
It is also setting up an ambitious plan of opening around 1,000 dealerships across the country.
Started in 1972, LML’s popularity rose because of its partnership with Piaggio Vespa, Italy. LML scooters were a good competition to Bajaj two wheelers.
