Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre.
According to a notification by the General Administration and Public Grievance, 1996 batch officer and Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services Vishal Dev has been posted as Principal Secretary, Finance.
Dev will take over from 1993-batch officer Ashok Meena, who has been posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water.
Besides, 1993-batch officer and Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department Deoranjan Kumar Singh will take charge as Principal Secretary, Steel and Mines.
Singh will replace 1993-batch officer Surendra Kumar, who has been posted as Principal Secretary, General Administration and Public Grievance with the additional charge of Tourism.
This apart, R Vineel Krishna, the 2005-batch officer and Special Secretary to Chief Minister, is given additional charge of Sports and Youth Services.
