Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday declared the premises of a residential house in the city as containment zone after two inhabitants of the building tested COVID positive.
The BMC, in a release, said two persons staying in plot number 1303/1304 at Jaydurga Nagar in Bomikhal have tested COVID positive. In order to prevent the spread of the disease, the area has been declared as containment zone.
In order to prevent the spread of the disease, nobody is allowed to go inside or come out of the containment zone. All the inhabitants in the containment zone have been told to strictly remain at home.
The BMC will supply all essential items and meet medical requirements of the inhabitants of the containment zone. It has appointed an enforcement inspector to ensure in making the provisions.
