Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Coporation (BMC) has urged people of Odisha who are stranded in different states to not heed to rumours regarding the process of returning to Bhubaneswar.
“Anyone willing to return to Bhubaneswar after lockdown, is required to register by filling up the form. The registration is mandatory. Please don’t pay attention to any rumours/WhatsApp forwards in this regard. Believe Government sources only,” BMC tweeted on Saturday.
The BMC clarification was necessitated by some in confusion about the registration process in certain quarters.
Mandatory online registration of Odia people stranded in other states, waiting to return to Odisha, began on Friday.
