New Delhi: Soon after learning about the FIR that has been filed against her by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh, actress Rhea Chakraborty met her lawyer Satish Manshinde on Wednesday evening.
According to a report in The Times Of India, Rhea met her lawyer to discuss about an anticipatory bail in the case.
Sources revealed that the lawyer was at Rhea’s Mumbai residence for nearly three hours.
Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea with the Patna police, claiming that she exploited and cheated his son, compelling him to commit suicide.
In the 6-page FIR, it has also been alleged that the actress stole Rs 15 crore from the actor and used his debit and credit cards for squandering money.
Rhea and her family members have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal code including 306 (abetment to suicide), 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120 (criminal conspiracy)
Sushant was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. Rhea had been staying with the actor at his residence and reportedly left him 6 days before his demise.
