Koraput: In an effort towards improving the amenities and service at railway stations, Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair Anup Satpathy on Saturday took the feedback from the passengers in Koraput-Rayagada section of the division.
During a visit to the section, the DRM interacted with the passengers on the platforms and listened to their suggestions and grievances on the amenities available at stations. He also met the local representatives of various associations and media persons and assured them of looking into the issues and informing appropriate authorities as soon as possible.
Satpathy inspected Koraput, Damanjodi, Lakshmipur Road and Rayagada stations. He made a thorough checking of railway tracks, bridges, curves, level crossings and manned railway gates besides enquiring the working skills and safety alertness from the Gangmen in the section.
He also met district collectors of Koraput and Rayagada and discussed the steps to expedite the new projects. He was accompanied by senior officials of the division.
