Bhubaneswar: With the state government relaxing the COVID restrictions for film halls from September 1, Odia film ‘Tu Mo Kamjori’ is set to hit the theatres soon.
The movie has Rakesh Deo, Anuva Sourya and Lipika in lead roles while actor Dev will appear in a negative role. The other starcast includes Ashis, Somu, Varsha, Jyoti, Natia, Jojo, Geetimayi Nanda and Biju Badajena.
According to sources, though film is based on a love story written by Asutosh Tripathy, elements of suspense and drama will surprise the viewers. Nirmal Nayak has penned the dialogues keeping the young generation in mind. Coming in a ‘total entertainment’ package, the movie will attract the elder audience also, the sources said.
Produced under the banner Shraddha Saburi Productions, ‘Tu Mo Kamjori’ is directed by Santosh Biswal. Bhargavi Tripathy, Tiki Pattnaik and Lingaraj Patra are the producers of the movie.
The film has some melodious numbers composed by Prem Anand. Human Sagar, Ananya, Diptirekha, Asutosh, Sabisesh and Debabrata have rendered their voice for the songs. Basantraj Samal, Dr Nirmal Nayak, and Subrat Swain have penned the lyrics.
The film’s mahurat shot was taken in November last year. But the shooting was held up due to second wave of COVID pandemic.
