Rourkela: In a major breakthrough, Rourkela Police have arrested area commander of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) Nelson Gudia and one of his associates, sources said on Tuesday.
Two pistols and live bullets were recovered from their possession.
The sources further said that they were apprehended on Monday during a raid by a special team of Rourkela police at Bharulata area under Bisra police station limits. The duo were allegedly involved in violence, extortion and murder attempts in Bisra, Jareikela and Bhalulata on Odisha-Jharkhand border. Further probe is underway.
