Bhubaneswar: The Regional Science Centre (RSC) in Bhubaneswar has made arrangements for the people to witness the live streaming of India’s third lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan-3, by ISRO on Friday.
The Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to be launched from SDSC-SHAR, Sriharikota at 2.35 pm. The RSC will organise an interactive session prior to the launch for the students to give an insight into the mission and India’s achievements in space science and technology.
The live streaming of the launch programme is available on the social media handles of the RSC.
The RSC is one of the constituent units of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) under the Ministry of Culture. The main objective of the NCSM is to propagate scientific education among the people, partcularly the students.
Earlier, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) invited citizens to witness the launch of Chandrayaan-3 from the Launch View Gallery at Sriharikota. Those interested can register at lvg.shar.gov.in/VSCREGISTRATION.
It may be noted that successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 will make India the fourth country after the United States, Russia and China to achieve the feat.
