Rourkela: Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has extended financial assistance of Rs 16.8 lakh to 42 students pursuing professional courses as a part of its CSR initiative.
The students belong to SC and ST communities and economically backward class of Sundargarh district, model steel villages and resettlement colonies of RSP. Belonging to 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 batches, they were handed over cheques in a staggered manner.
So far, 170 students have benefited from the scheme.
