SAI International Residential School Celebrates Founder’s Day In Grand Style

Bhubaneswar: SAI International Residential School marked the third Founder’s Day ‘Bijaya Bhava’ on December 22 and 23 to celebrate the life of Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo.

The 2-day conclave started start with the Annual athletics meet at the SAI International Sports Stadium. DCP Cuttack Prateek Singh, the Chief Guest, watched students and school staff take part in the meet. He motivated SAIoneers, offered them tips on handling social media and urged students to read more to gain wisdom.

During the cultural session in the evening, SAIoneers came up with some delightful performances depicting the flavours of India that represented unity in diversity.

Appreciating the students’ performances, evening Chief Guest Sabyasachi Mohapatra, the renowned filmmaker, writer and producer, paid tribute to Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder-Chairman of SAI International Education Group.

“Dr Sahoo has not just made a school, he has installed a centre of human transformation in Odisha,” Sabyasachi said, quoting Dr Sahoo’s motto of either be the best or different from the rest.

On Day 2 of ‘Bijaya Bhava’, Chief Guest Bhabani Shakar Chayani, Collector & District Magistrate of Cuttack and his wife Dr Linu Chayani, Founder Director LISAS IAS Study Circle, went down memory lane and remembered Dr Sahoo as a man of ‘great vision and action’.

The celebrations concluded with the awards ceremony for students who had shown academic excellence.

The entire school fraternity took an oath of allegiance to abide by the vision of the Founder and take his legacy of excellence to even higher levels.
