Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has approved Shree Mandir Adarsh Gurukulam project (model school for children of servitors of Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri).
It will be constructed at Matitota in Puri on 15 acres, for which the state government has allocated Rs 25 crore under the ABADHA scheme.
“I am directed to inform you that the Government has been pleased to accord approval for designing and construction of the project ‘Shree Mandir Adarsh Gurukulam’ at Matitota, Puri to O.B. & C.C. Ltd. under ABADHA scheme,” wrote Works Department’s Joint Secretary Bimalendu Ray in a letter to the managing director of O.B. & C.C. Ltd.
The official has requested the managing director to take necessary follow up action in consultation with Shree Jagannath Temple administration for timely completion of the project.
