Mumbai: Natasa Stankovic and Team India allrounder Hardik Pandya are no longer husband and wife, but the Siberian actor-model doesn’t want her son to grow up without his father.
Speculation was rife that Natasa had left the country with son Agastya for good after she and Hardik separated in July after four years of marriage. However, the model flew back to India recently and dismissed such rumours.
During an interview with The Times Of India, Natasa said that she and Hardik have decided to co-parent Agastya.
She also clarified that her trip to Siberia was only for a holiday break, and that she has no plans of leaving India and settling in another country.
“There’s talk in the city that I’m going back. (But) How would I go back? I have a child who goes to school here. There is no chance… That won’t happen. The child needs to be here. He belongs here. The family is here at the end of the day. We (Hardik and I) are still a family. We have a child, and the child will always make us a family at the end of the day. I haven’t done that anyway because Agastya needs to stay with both parents. It’s been 10 years and I go to Siberia every year at the same time,” Natasa told TOI.
Having worked in some films, she had taken a break for five years, which she doesn’t regret as she spent time with her son.
Now, she is planning to get back to work — for herself and her son.
