New Delhi: Several museums in Delhi received a bomb threat on Tuesday, which later turned out to be a hoax. The police were informed of an email which was sent to many museums, including the railway museum, in the national capital.
An investigation into the bomb threat email was initiated after the police registered a case.
Later, the threat was declared a hoax.
“As soon as the information was received, the team of Delhi Police immediately rushed to the spots to investigate the matter. The mail regarding the bomb threat was sent to various museums including the Rail Museum on Tuesday, ” police officials said on Wednesday, according to ANI.
