Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall for the next two days, predicted the Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
The IMD in its afternoon bulletin stated that light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh on Thursday.
March 25-26 (8.30 am): Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kandhamal.
March 26-27: Similar weather condition is likely to prevail over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput.
The rest of the state will remain dry during the period, the IMD stated.
On the other hand, no large change in maximum temperature has been predicted. over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days. It will be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees at many places over the districts of interior Odisha during the next 4-5 days, the IMD added.
