Bhubaneswar: Chilly weather conditions will continue to prevail in Odisha during the next two to three days, the India Meteorological Centre here said on Monday.
“Northwesterly/ northerly dry and cold wind at lower levels penetrating over Odisha and under its influence, isolated cold wave to severe cold wave conditions very likely over some parts of the interior and adjoining coastal districts of Odisha during next 2-3 days,” the MeT office said.
The minimum temperature will remain below normal by 4-6°C in the state during this period, it added.

Meanwhile, Daringbadi in Kandhamal district recorded the season’s lowest minimum temperature of 4 degrees Celsius on Sunday night. Jharsuguda was the second coldest place at 5.6 degrees Celsius.
As many as 13 stations of the state recorded minimum temperature below 10 degree Celsius. The mercury plummeted to 13.8 degree Celsius in Bhubaneswar.
Snowflakes were seen in the Koida and Tensa areas in Bonai of Sundergarh district early on Monday morning.
