Bhubaneswar: The special squad of Commissionerate Police busted a sex racket at Gajapati Nagar here on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off that flesh trade was being run in an under-construction house, the police team raided the place and rescued three girls, besides taking three youths into custody.
Several objectionable items were recovered from the spot.
According to police sources, the illegal activity was undergoing here for the last few months.
On May 9, a similar prostitution racket was busted by the Quick Response Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police at a guest house in Nayapalli area.
Following the raid, three girls were rescued and seven customers arrested.
However, the owner of the guest house had managed to escape during the raid.
