Shiv Sena Leader Demands Action Against Bigg Boss OTT 3, Armaan Malik For Promoting ‘Vulgarity’

Mumbai: Bigg Boss and Bigg Boss OTT, known to throw up a cocktail of controversies, rivalries, heartbreaks and surprises, has been hit by a fresh row.

Shiv Sena MLA Dr Manisha Kayande recently slammed Bigg Boss OTT 3 for spreading ‘vulgarity’.

The reference is to YouTuber Armaan Malik, one of the most talked-about contestants in the reality show after his revelation of being married to both Payal Malik and Kritika Malik.

“Bigg Boss 3 is a reality show… It’s absolute vulgarity that is going on and that has been depicted here. The YouTube influencer (Armaan Malik) is also participating in that. He has crossed all limits of vulgarity and for the scenes that are being shown. We have requested Mumbai Police to take action, and we have given them a letter. This public display of vulgarity in the name of reality shows, how far is it correct. How does it influence young minds?” the Shiv Sena MLA told ANI.

“We will also go to the Information & Broadcasting minister at the Centre and request them to bring in a law in this current session of Parliament on OTT platforms. We have told them to arrest the actors and also the CEO of the show,” she further said.

A video from Bigg Boss OTT 3 house went viral on social media recently, showing Armaan and his second wife Kritika allegedly getting intimate and indulging in sex.

As netizens expressed shock, Armaan’s first wife Payal also reacted to the viral video.

Payal claimed in her YouTube vlog that the video is edited and urged everyone to stop sharing it on social media.

“Whoever has shared the video claiming it is Armaan and Kritika’s I would request them with folded hands to stop. The video is edited. I have stayed at Bigg Boss house and I can say that there are no lamps like the ones seen in the viral clip. The blanket is also different. Those who have stayed inside the house will quickly understand that the clip is fake,” Free Press Journal quoted Payal as saying.

Earlier this month, another video surfaced on social media showing Armaan getting intimate with Kritika under the blanket at night once bedroom lights were off.

Armaan has been facing flak for promoting polygamy. He married Payal in 2011 and the duo welcomed a son named Chirayu Malik.

Six years later, Armaan married Payal’s best friend Kritika without legally ending his first marriage.
