Chennai: The shooting of the Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Annaatthe’ has been suspended after four crew members of the film tested COVID-19 positive.
The positive cases surfaced during routine testing, the film’s production house Sun Pictures informed through Twitter. The superstar himself and other crew members have tested negative for coronavirus.
Shooting of the Siva-directed film, which had been hampered by the coronavirus-induced lockdown, is in the last leg.
After a prolonged break, shooting had resumed earlier this month in Hyderabad and Rajinikanth had flown in a chartered flight with daughter Aishwarya Dhanush.
The film’s cast includes Nayanthara, Khushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj, Sathish and Soori.
