Singapore: A new COVID-19 testing kit from Advanced MedTech Holdings has been approved and will be used at Changi International Airport.

The test requires saliva to be collected from deep within the throat. People will have to spit from deep within the throat into a specimen bottle for testing. This will help eliminate invasive methods and is a game-changer, according to the company.

The test will increase results four-fold and is said to be accurate.

Hong Kong has already introduced a similar test.
