Bhubaneswar: Amid a warning about a spike in daily COVID count in the next three to four weeks, Odisha logged 10 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the active tally to 78 on Friday.
The state had seen 7,10 and 9 infections in the last three days.
According to the I & PR department, six of the new cases are from quarantine and four local contacts. One among them is in the age group of 0-18 years.
Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:
1. Cuttack: 1
2. Kendrapada: 1
3. Khurda: 4
4. Nayagarh: 1
5. Sambalpur: 2
6. Sundargarh: 1
With these cases being detected from18,317 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.05 per cent.
