Bhubaneswar: The Capital City witnessed a slight jump in COVID-19 cases with 389 new positive cases registered in the last 24 hours, against 329 the previous day.
Among new cases, 51 are from quarantine and 338 through local contacts. The total number of cases in Bhubaneswar has now gone up to 84,836.
The highest of 34 cases were reported from Patia and 30 from Old Town followed by 21 cases from Khandagiri area.
On the other hand, 988 patients have recovered from the disease.
With 80,970 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 3.461 active cases.
