SOA In Bhubaneswar Signs Implementation Pact On MoU With HITAS Of Cameroon

Bhubaneswar: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar has signed an implementation agreement with Hanseatic Institute of Technology and Applied Sciences (HITAS) of Cameroon on the MoU signed between the two institutions in February.

The agreement was signed by Prof Nachieketa K Sharma, Director, University Outreach Programme of SOA and Prof Maurice K Kamga, Executive President of HITAS at Douala in the last week of June.

As per the agreement, SOA will impart online courses in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master in  Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) and Master in Computer Application
(MCA) to students of HITAS from the 2024-25 academic session subject to conditions laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Both the institutions will also provide state-of-the-art digital facilities for the online programmes while SOA will oversee the installation of laboratory facilities and all matters related to implementation of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology from 2024-25 academic session.

It was also agreed that HITAS would depute students from Cameroon to study Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and Bachelor of Technology to SOA.
