Bhubaneswar: The process of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from Odisha has begun, said the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, on Monday.
According to the release, the monsoon has completely withdrawn from Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada and most parts of Angul and Boudh districts.
Besides, it has also withdrawn from some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts.
The conditions have become favourable for further withdrawal of the monsoon from some more parts of Odisha in the next two days, the release added.
