Jajpur: Jajpur district administration will take special measures to check pilferage of minor mineral resources by monitoring vehicles in the mining regions.
District Collector Chakraborty Singh Rathore said CCTVs will be installed in the mining areas in the district to monitor the movement of vehicles carrying minerals.
Chief Secretary during a visit to the district had asked the administration to check pilferage of minerals from different mines, said Rathore.
Rathore said special forces will be deployed at different mining areas to check the unscrupulous practice and added that raids will also be conducted at regular intervals for the purpose.
