New Delhi: Guess what? Way back in 2017, superstar Shah Rukh Khan had predicted that Ranveer Singh will one day get arrested for his sartorial choices.
An old interview of King Khan resurfaced on the internet when he appeared on a talk show, Koffee With Karan with Alia Bhatt. During the episode, when Karan Johar had asked SRK what would be the reason if he ever heard that Ranveer Singh was arrested, the superstar had quipped that Ranveer might get arrested for “wearing clothes and for not wearing clothes.”
The naked photos of Ranveer Singh have stirred quite a controversy. From an FIR being filed against him to protests in Indore and clothes being donated, there has been a mixed bag of reactions.
Bollywood has come out in support of the actor, with his co-stars defending him. Among those who have been vocal in their support are Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vidya Balan.
Meanwhile, chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal has responded to the recent buzz surrounding Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot. Pointing out that women’s nude photos are ‘fed’ to society on a daily basis, she wondered if there were no real issues in the country as all prime-time debates on TV news channels have been focusing on Ranveer’s magazine photoshoot.
