Student Of RD Women’s University In Bhubaneswar Found Dead In Jajpur

Bhubaneswar: Mystery shrouds the death of a student of Ramadevi Women’s University, here, whose body was found at a place in Jajpur district on Wednesday.

According to police sources, the girl, identified as Jharaphula Nayak of Marundeipasi village under Jashipur police limits in Mayurbhanj district was studying in Plus III second year in the university. She had gone to Bhubaneswar on January 24 and attended classes next day.

The locals of Mulapala under Kuakhia police limits in Jajpur district found Jharaphula’s body lying on a roadside.
Police have seized the body and sent it for post-mortem. The cause of death will be ascertained after getting the post-mortem report, police said.
However, a CCTV camera on the way to Mulapala has captured the girl being carried sitting between two men on a scooter. Police are analysing the footage to ascertain the identity of the two persons to trace them.
