Bhubaneswar: Odisha government will disburse the second phase of first installment of payment under Subhadra Yojana to 35 lakh beneficiaries on Wednesday.
According to Deputy Chief Minister and Minister Pravati Parida, more than 35 lakh eligible beneficiaries with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clearance will receive the payment tomorrow.
“The Chief Minister will release second phase of first installment to accounts of the beneficiaries before 12 pm tomorrow. So far, more than 1 crore women (eligible beneficiaries) have enrolled in Subhadra Yojana,” said Parida who is also the Minister of Women and Child Development department.
Subhadra Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bhubaneswar on his birthday on September 17. Under the scheme, Odisha government will transfer Rs 10,000 per year to eligible women beneficiaries between the ages of 21 and 60.
